По этой причине, чем больше раз (лет) Нил будет разливаться без завершения работ, тем хуже будет настроение фараона, а вы никогда не должны забывать, что самые незначительные его желания – это незабываемые повеления.

Как и любой строитель, вы столкнетесь с проблемами, которые вам придется решать, помня о том, что любое ваше решение будет определять будущие условия, в которых вы окажетесь.

Помните, что строительство пирамиды может занять некоторое время, но при наличии удачи, времени, правильных решений, ума и изобретательности вы сможете завершить великую работу, и вы станете величайшим строителем в истории Египта.

Не забывайте, что их здоровье, отсутствие эпидемий, побегов, производительность и забастовки зависят от питания и порки рабов.

Уважайте и бойтесь богов, и вы обретете их благосклонность. Не растрачивайте деньги фараона, иначе вас постигнут последствия.

Каждый год вы должны будете выбирать диету и порку для каждого раба; это сложный выбор, поскольку от него будет зависеть скорость строительства пирамиды.

Не будет недостатка в удаче (хорошей или плохой) в процессе строительства, хотя обычно у каждого она своя. Однако политика фараона и события тех времен обозначат ситуации, к которым придется приспосабливаться.

На протяжении всей пьесы нет недостатка в сыновьях фараона, гиксосах, состоянии работ, караванах рабов, жрецах, бригадирах, войнах, несчастных случаях и т. д.

Но прежде всего, остерегайтесь СФИНКСА; если вам не повезло встретить его, разгадайте его загадки, иначе он сразит вас наповал.

Pharaoh

You are in ancient Egypt, under the reign of the great Pharaoh Katmosis, and you have been called by him to do the greatest work ever seen.

You are the one chosen to direct the construction of the Great Pyramid that will house the pharaoh after his death. For this reason, the more times the Nile overflows (years) without the work being completed, the worse the Pharaoh’s mood will be, and you must never forget that his smallest wishes are unforgettable commands.

Like any builder you will encounter problems that you will have to solve, bearing in mind that any of your decisions will condition the future conditions in which you will find yourself.

Remember that building a pyramid can take some time, but with luck, some time, good decisions, intelligence and ingenuity you can complete the great work, and you will be the greatest builder in the history of Egypt.

Don’t forget that their health, lack of epidemics, escapes, performance and strikes depend on the feeding and whipping of the slaves.

Respect and fear the gods, and you will gain their favour. Do not squander the pharaoh’s money or you will suffer the consequences.

Each year you will have to choose the diet and lashes to be applied to each slave; a difficult choice, as the rate of construction of the pyramid will depend on it.

There will be no lack of luck (good or bad) through construction, although normally one will have one’s own. However, the politics of the pharaoh and the events of those times will mark situations to which one will have to adapt.

But above all, BEWARE OF THE SPHINx; if you are unlucky enough to encounter it, solve its riddles or it will strike you down.

Faraon

Estás en el antiguo Egipto, bajo el reinado del gran faraón Katmosis, y has sido llamado por éste para realizar la obra más grande que nunca se ha visto.

Eres el elegido para dirigir las obras de construcción de la Gran Pirámide que albergará al faraón después de su muerte. Por esta razón, cuantas más veces se desborde el Nilo (años) sin que la obra esté concluída, peor será el humor del faraón y nunca debes olvidar que sus deseos más pequeños son órdenes inolvidables.

Como todo constructor te encontrarás con problemas que deberás resolver, teniendo en cuenta que cualquiera de tus decisiones condicionará las condiciones futuras en las que te encontrarás.

Recuerda que la construcción de una pirámide puede llevarte algo de tiempo, pero con suerte, algo de tiempo, buenas decisiones, inteligencia e ingenio podrás completar la gran obra, y serás el más grande constructor de la historia de Egipto.

No olvides que de la alimentación y de los latigazos a los esclavos depende su salud, carencia de epidemias, fugas, rendimiento y huelgas.

Respeta y teme a los dioses, y conseguirás su favor. No despilfarres el dinero del faraón o sufrirás las consecuencias.

Cada año tendrás que escoger la dieta y latigazos que hay que aplicar a cada esclavo; elección difícil, dado que de ello dependerá el ritmo de construcción de la pirámide.

No faltará la suerte (buena o mala) a traves de la construcción, aunque normalmente uno habrá la suya propia. Sin embargo, la política del faraón y los sucesos de aquellos tiempos, marcarán situaciones a las que habrá de amoldarse.

No faltarán a lo largo de la obra los hijos del faraón, los hicsos, estado de las obras, caravanas de esclavos, sacerdotes, capataces, guerras, accidentes, etc.

Pero sobre todo, ¡TEN CUIDADO CON LA ESFINGE!; si tienes la mala suerte de encontrarte con ella, resuelve sus enigmas o te fulminará.

Durante el juego pulsa cualquier tecla, a excepción de BREAK, una vez hayas terminado la lectura de la pantalla información.

Si te equivocas durante una petición de datos, puedes borrar con DELETE; recuerda que debes pulsar ENTER una vez hayas completado la entrada de datos para que el ordenador lo reciba.

Cuando se presenten las caravanas de esclavos, podrás comprar o vender (pulsando C o V respectivamente); si no deseas comprar ni vender, pulsa C o V, y luego contesta con O. En aquellos tiempos también los comerciantes vendían más caro de lo que compraban. ¿Había inflación hace 4000 años?
