* На скольких клиентов нужно опираться?

* Сколько должно быть потрачено на взятки?

Каждый год один из капюшонов будет сообщать вам новости о том, как шли дела под вашим контролем, сколько капюшонов по-прежнему преданы вам и другие важные вопросы, например, сколько наличных в сейфе!

Вы принимаете решения, и один неверный шаг может означать конец! Mugsy дает совершенно новое направление для любителей острых ощущений – комическая анимация, потрясающая графика и полноценная аркадная игра.

Загрузка игры

Для Mugsy требуется 48-килобайтный Spectrum. Чтобы загрузить программу, выключите компьютер, а затем снова включите его.

Используйте обычные процедуры загрузки, описанные в руководстве по спектру, и используйте LOAD “” или LOAD “mugsy”.

Играя в игру

Основная часть игры представлена в виде видеокомикса.

You are Mugsy, the godfather of a gang of thugs, and your goal is to become the coolest and most influential gang leader in the city. Your tasks include managing the gang, earning big money, organizing extortion, buying weapons and ammunition, but be careful, your reign as the Big Boss is very fragile. If you become too successful, other gangs will put a hit on you! When the hit is taken out, a brutal shootout ensues, and at that stage, a full-fledged arcade game is activated.

Mugsy is a brand new and exciting gangster game for the 48K Spectrum – the first interactive video comic strip!.

You are Mugsy, the Godfather to a gang of hoodlums and your aim is to be the toughest and most powerful gang leader in the city.

Your tasks involve managing the gang, making lots of money, organizing the protection rackets, buying weapons and ammunition but betware, you reign as the Big Boss is rather delicate. If you are too successful a contract will be put out by other gangs to get rid of you!

If a contract is put out, a vicious shoot-out may occur and at this stage a full arcade game is incorporated into the program.

In order to play the game (and give Mugsy a long crime-filled life) you must make smart decisions about matters such as:

* How many people Mugsy is standing over – too many and hell lose control, too few and he wont get enough to pay the mob?

* How much of his dough should he spend on guns – too much and hes broke, too little and hes lost control?

* How many clients must be leaned on?

* How much is to be spent on bribes?

Each year on of the hoods will bring you the news on how things went under your control, how many hoods are still loyal to you and other important matter such as how much cash there is in the safe!

You are the decision maker and one wrong move could mean the end! Mugsy gives a totally new direction for thrill-seekers – comic animation, stunning graphics and a full arcade game.

Remember – you are da boss!

Loading the game

Mugsy requires a 48K Spectrum. To load the program, turn off the computer and then turn the computer on again.

Use the normall loading procedures described in the spectrum manual, and use LOAD “” or LOAD “mugsy”

Playing the game

The main part of the game is presented in the form of a video comic.

You will find that there is ample time to read the comments made in each frame, and if you should wish to skip to the next frame, simply press any key.

When it is your turn to speak, a flashing asterisk cursor will appear in your talk baloon. Type in your response and press ENTER. (You can backspace over any error by using DELETE – SHIFT+0 before pressing ENTER).

At the end of each year, your Spectrum will display a visual micro-movie of the highlight of the year.

Should you be unfortunate enough to have a contract put out on you, you will be placed into an arcade game situation, fighting for your life.

Every year one of your gang will bring the news about how things have been going under your control, how many gang members are still loyal to you and other important matters such as how much money is in the safe.

You make the decisions and one wrong move could mean the end. Mugsy brings a whole new approach to thrill-seekers – comic animation, great graphics and full action gameplay.

Tú eres Mugsy, el Padrino de una pandilla de matones y tu objetivo es ser el más duro y más poderoso líder de pandilla en la ciudad.

Tus tareas involucran el manejo de la pandilla, hacer mucho dinero, organizar la venta de protección, comprar armas y municiones pero ten cuidado, tu reinado como el Gran jefe es algo delicado. Si eres demasiado exitoso otros pandilleros serán contratados para deshacerse de tí.

Si se contrata alguien para matarte, puede ocurrir un terrible tiroteo y en este caso el juego cambia a un modo de acción.

Para jugar el juego (y darle a Mugsy una larga vida llena de crímenes) debes tomar decisiones inteligentes sobre temas como:

* Cuánta gente Mugsy tiene a cargo – demasiadas y él perderá el control, muy pocas y no conseguirá suficiente para pagarle a la mafia.

* Cuánto de este dinero debería gastar en armas – demasiado y está en quiebra, muy poco y perderá el control.

* Cuántos clientes deben ser extorsionados.

* Cuantó se debe gastar en sobornos.

Cada año uno de tu pandilla traerá las noticias sobre cómo han ido las cosas bajo tu control, cuantos pandilleros todavía te son leales y otros asuntos importantes como cuánto dinero hay en la caja fuerte.

Tú eres quien toma las decisiones y un mal movimiento podría significar el final. Mugsy brinda un enfoque completamente nuevo para los ávidos de emociones – animación de cómic, estupendos gráficos y un completo juego de acción.

Cargando el juego

Mugsy requiere una Spectrum 48K. Para cargar el programa, apaga la computadora y luego enciéndela de nuevo.

Jugando el juego

La parte principal del juego es presentada en forma de un video de comic.

Encontrarás que hay tiempo suficiente para leer los comentarios hechos en cada pantalla, y si quisieras salter a la siguiente pantalla, simplemente presiona cualquier tecla.

Cuando sea tu turno de hablar, un aparecerá un cursor con forma de asterisco titilante en tu globo de diálogo. Escribe tu respuesta y presiona ENTER. (Puedes volver sobre cualquier error usando DELETE SHIFT 0 antes de presionar ENTER)

Al final de cada año, tu Spectrum mostrará una micro-pelicula visual de lo más destacado del año.

En el caso de tener la mala suerte de que se haya contratado a algien para deshacerse de tí, serás puesto en una situación de juego de acción, teniendo que luchar por tu vida.
